The Elizabeth Kirkhope Circle (EKC) is a valued group of bequestors whose generosity continues to have as a major impact on the School’s ability to provide contemporary teaching and learning facilities and to offer young women the opportunity to experience an outstanding education. Today we celebrated and thanked members of the EKC and officially welcomed Pamela Fitz-Gibbon (1971), Vivienne Harkness (1957) and Ruth Tideman (Principal 1983 - 2000) to the circle. "It’s exciting to leave a bequest to a world we know nothing about other than that there will be a need and that the education of girls will play a major part” said Alix Bradfield, Honorary President of the Elizabeth Kirkhope Circle, reflecting on the lasting impact of our community’s collective generosity following inspiring speeches by our 2022 co-captains Tegan and Selina and alumna Feng-Yuan Liu (2004). |
