Captains' Evening

Early in May, Lauriston welcomed past School Captains and Vice Captains to return for a wonderful evening in celebration of 120 years of remarkable leadership. We were thrilled to welcome back our oldest known School Captain June Danks (McMullin, 1948), and 44 other past leaders from the '50s, '60s, '70s, 80's, 90's, 2000s, and 2010s, including last year's School Captains Jessica Detering and Vea Gunawan. Guests watched the fabulous 120 Celebration video, saw themselves on the big screen as part of a continuous slideshow of all school captains and vice captains, and listened to a presentation from this year's School Captains Megan Ho and Amelie Graham. It was an enjoyable, nostalgic and heartfelt occasion made even more special with performances by the newly formed OLA choir, the Huntingtower Singers.
