Queen's Birthday Honours List 2020

Together with Lauriston Girls' School, the Old Lauristonians' Association is thrilled to offer congratulations to 3 remarkable alumnae who have been listed as recipients in the recent Queen's Birthday Honours List for 2020, acknowledging outstanding contribution and tireless work in their field of endeavour.
 

 		                                
 		                              
 
Professor Elizabeth McIntyre Tudor AM (1968) received the prestigious Member (AM) in the General Division, for significant service to veterinary science, to tertiary education, and to animal welfare.
      


            
Helen Mahemoff OAM (1965) received the prestigious Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for service to Holocaust education and rememberance.
     
Amanda (Mandy) Milledge OAM (1972) received the prestigious Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for service to the community through charitable foundations.

In times as uncertain as these, it is very comforting to know we have strength and leadership within our alumnae network, with matriarchs like Helen, Mandy and Elizabeth.
